By accessing and using the Verumax platform ("the Service"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Verumax reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon publication on the website.

2. Service Description

Verumax is a comprehensive platform that enables educational institutions, independent professionals and educators, event organizers, businesses, cooperatives, and mutuals to issue, manage, and validate digital documents with QR verification codes.

Our solutions include:

• Certificatum: A complete digital academic certification system with automatic generation of approval certificates, academic transcripts, enrollment certificates, regular student certificates, and certificates for teaching professionals and educators
• Customized portal for each institution with 24/7 access for students and teaching professionals
• Instant validation system with unique and tamper-proof QR codes
• Secure cloud storage with automatic daily backups
• Automatic email notification when documents become available
• Bulk data upload and batch issuance
• Premium printing option for physical documents

3. User Registration and Account

To use the Service as an issuing institution, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and access credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Promptly notifying of any unauthorized use of your account
• Providing truthful data about your institution or organization

Verumax reserves the right to suspend or cancel accounts that violate these terms or that provide false information.

4. Permitted Use

The Service may only be used to issue legitimate documents that represent actual academic achievements, participations, or credentials. It is strictly prohibited to use Verumax to issue false, fraudulent, or unverifiable documents. Misuse may result in immediate account cancellation and legal action.

5. Document Validity

Documents issued through Verumax are the exclusive responsibility of the issuing institution. Verumax provides the issuance and validation technology, but does not certify or guarantee the accuracy of the document contents. QR validation only confirms that the document was issued by the indicated institution and has not been altered.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, technology, and source code of Verumax are the exclusive property of the platform and are protected by intellectual property laws. Institutions retain ownership of their visual identity and the content of the documents they issue.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Verumax complies with Argentina's Personal Data Protection Law 25.326. Student and teaching professional data is stored securely and is only accessible by the corresponding issuing institution. For more information, please consult our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

Verumax shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the last 12 months.
